This Is The Verse

They wake you up your Mum and Dad,
     They may not mean to but they do;
And though to tell it’s rather sad,
     Their parents once woke them up too.

‘Up you get.’ ‘Don’t mess around.’
     Was shouted then as now;
‘Don’t stay in bed till ten o’clock,
     It’s time to milk the cow!’
